Safeguarding supervision

If you work in an education or residential care setting, safeguarding young people will play a crucial part of your role - whether you are a designated safeguarding lead, residential care home worker, teacher or pastoral staff team, there will be times where you may identify and need to respond to a safeguarding concern. I recognise the challenges and complexities that these situations can present. It's essential that you or your colleagues are supported, looked after and provided with the time and space that you need.
Safeguarding consultation and supervision plays a crucial part in this. Supervision guidance can strengthen you and your organisation's confidence. It enables time to reflect and explore issues, and importantly, it provides a confidential and safe space.
I have 20 years of experience of providing safeguarding supervision and can offer expert guidance, knowledge and support to help you and your organisation navigate the sometimes seemingly complex world of safeguarding. I can offer safeguarding supervision or consultancy either in person or on-line. My approach is strengths-based and solution-focused. I can tailor the support you need to meet your organisation's needs, for example sessions could cover emotional health and wellbeing, specific safeguarding situations and explore wider practice.
If you would like to find out more about how I can support, please get in touch.
